Constellations
Concept of the Performance:
“Constellations” tells the story of a man searching for his lost beloved far beyond the limits of reality through the means of technology, in a dimension where memories and emotions create new worlds. The production is the second project realized under the Apostol Karamitev Program, launched in 2023 to encourage artistic experimentation and diversity in theatrical expression.
Artistic Statement
How far does life reach—and where does it end? Can it exist beyond its own conclusion? What does “time” mean in the deterministic notion that beginning and end are one and the same thing? Are the choices we make and defend every day truly acts of free will? Perhaps they are—if love and memory can carry us into another dimension, one where we can forgive ourselves for our mistakes, reconsider our circumstances and destinies, overcome pain, and perceive the multidimensional meaning of being together. And somewhere between love, guilt and regret the Ego yields and Serenity is born.
